    Hello experts,

I was offered this watch for sale. The dial looks original to me but i don't know anything else about this watch. Your feedback is greatly appreciated! Is this a fake?

I believe it's a redial, but not my area of focus. Observations - Font and logo seems off, no "swiss" at the bottom, the whole thing looks off-center to towards the 3 o-clock side, though that could be perspective. Would be a pass for me.

Redial for sure, but a very old one.

Rest of watch looks correct, including the crown.

Only if it's ridiculously cheap, otherwise pass.

I think the watch has an old fashioned plastic crystal which appears to have yellowed badly. I suspect the dial would look a lot better if that was replaced. Redial? I don't have a clue. But I have several watches with refinished dials in my collection. Refinished dials bother some folks more than they bother other folks. If you like the watch and the price, buy it!

Redials are not my thing at all! However, we are all different as you say if you like the watch and price buy it.

It does look like a redial. The fonts look odd, it may well be an old redial.

I would also bet on a redial. It's a mod 816, one of the first models with 26.5SOB, but also probably the most widely produced. It is not very difficult to find one with original dial in good condition.
