I've had it repaired and cleaned up as it was in bad shape but wanted it done for sentimental reasons. Just wondering the worth and the rough age of it. Writing on back says "10k GFD BEZEL STAINLESS BACK"

    This is a 2nd generation Globemaster. Made from late 1950's up to 1960 or so.

    The name "Globemaster" comes from a military transportation aircraft of the time. It was originally used on US versions of the Omega Constellation back in 1952 as a result of some trademark issues with TWA.

    The later models like yours were also US market pieces, but these had non chronometer movements and were priced slightly lower than Seamasters when they were new.

    I don't know the current value on the 2nd generation models like yours, but they should be a little less than an equivalent Seamaster.
