    Hi guys,

I will post the picture of the movement and case soon, for now I am looking at its dial. Can anyone point to me where i can start, for example, an estimate of what year this is, and if the dial looks fine?

    Thanks!

Likely early '60s. Over-polished case, incorrect crown, and likely redial.

    Sorry.

Thanks Tony, what makes you say it is a redial? Too clean?

No – the Geneve script appears to be too thick/crude, and the accent mark is not correct.

It is possible that "Geneve" was added to an original dial in an effort to raise the value of the watch.

A couple of correct examples of the signature, albeit manual-wind:

I think you should leave it at the garage sale. And maybe consider starting your own thread next time :)
