The dial looks OK to me. There is a fine line between damage and patina and this example is right on the line, in my opinion.

According to @mondodec's list of calibres the 504 is something of a rare movement. With that late a serial number it must have been one of the last produced. I have a cal. 561 with a similar number 1721xxxx in a 14393-1 case.

The crown looks wrong to me. The medallion shows more wear than mine too.

Now, mind these are two different models but I purchased my piece about 3 months ago for a bit over $800US.

The example you are looking at is a snap cap back and mine is a screwback.

Here's another shot that shows the hands better.

    The clue is in the
There is a clear difference between the two dials.
It's probably going to take me some time until i can be sure but at the moment i think the colour is sort of blurred .
    Thank you

Looks like it's been white washed of sorts...

Doesn't make me smile when I look at it ... I'd pass ... There will be a better one around the corner ... PATIENCE!

Dial is correct and original but has degraded to an unattractive appearance.

Beside the wrong crown, the hour and minute hands are also incorrect, along with an incorrect replacement rotor. Not really worth having as a watch for any price to me.

Sorry to mislead you, I thought the seller was one of our ex members, and I wouldn't buy from him.

Not the same sellers but I would pass on the watch for the reasons above.
