Hello everyone, we came across this in my wife's great grandmothers estate and want to repair it and keep it in the family. I believe it to be authentic except for the band. Can anyone shed some light on this watch.

I really would like to have it restored and repaired back to its original state (band is incorrect)

Sentimental value? Priceless.

eBay value less than $100.

Quartz watches are not highly collectable and it will cost you a lot more than its value to service/repair

The model number is the 591.0019 in your photo. Google that and you should be able to find more info.

 

I love inherited watches. Maybe you have tried to replace the battery, if not I would try that first. Good luck.
