    Hi,

    got this from a flea market - has anyone ever seen such a clock -how can I tell if this is a fake or a real Omega?

    A first for me, but that does not mean its a fake. We would need to see pictures of the movement to make any informed comments.

    Can you post a picture that doesn't have the Omega script covered up, as well as a picture of the movement ?

    By the way I am from Austria - and actually it wasn't me who bought the clock, it was my parents- They told me that the woman who sold
    that clock also sold antique porcelain - she was from hungary...

    I don't think that this is a genuine Omega clock.
    The script looks completely off for the period, like it was added afterwards. I have not yet ever seen an Omega clock with the winder in the middle of the dial and the movement picture doesn't look right either.

    The printing on the dial, in particular the numbers in the sub-seconds dial, is very wonky and looks like it was done by an amateur. Also, the length of the sub-seconds hand is way too long.

    Doesn't look good for it to be a real Omega...
