Would really appreciate anyone’s opinion whether it’s worth my time getting this piece. In mint condition, looks like it. It’s being offered at around 300 bucks. Photos included in this post

Do you like it? That’s the pertinent part you’ve left out.

Regarding collectibility, the style isn’t particularly desirable and being a quartz pushes it further town the collectibility league table.

USD$300 for an electroplated gold quartz from Omega's dark years?

There are better things to waste money on.

If you are thinking of buying it make sure the setting pusher on the side of the watch is in working condition as they are often very tricky to set. I myself think its a nice dress watch at a decent price. Good luck.

If it is in good working order, setting easy, sits nice on the wrist then 300 dollars seems to me to be a decent price. The buyer is not looking for a seamaster 300 to go diving with apparently. He is looking at a dress watch. Good luck.

It’s also not “mint”, plenty of wear on top of the case, and that’s not the original buckle

Do you really want an Omega? Have to have this Omega model with this movement? If yes then $300 is reasonable although I see many De Ville quartz on sale so patience may pay off. IMHO $300 is slightly in the high range for this, although there is no rhyme or reason with pricing. There are many other tank like design from respectable Swiss brands for around $300, give or take.
