    Hello!

I recently found my father's old watch, and I am currently in the process of negotiating the servicing. I am using Nesbits for the servicing, but one question I've run into is whether to replace the hands or to use the old ones? Also would love recommendations on what type of band to put on this watch as well as what it is potentially worth. I included a picture of this type of watch on a metal bracelet just as a thought that I had.

    Thank you very much!

Oh, keep those original hands, for sure! They look great. These are cool watches, the Cal 930 is quite unique with the date at the 9 o'clock position.

Ask Nesbitts for a nice sympathetic service. Don't change the visible parts. Tell them OmegaForums sent ya!

And just a gentle, gentle clean on that case. That piece is beautiful!

As far as putting it on a bracelet, I think it looks sharp that way. But why limit yourself? I think it would look nice on a brown strap or a black strap. Play around with it and have fun. And welcome to the forum

With a good service, case clean and crystal polish that's going to look great. I'd definitely keep those hands as well.
