I have a question, have you ever seen one of this clocks? Do you know if they existed or all of them are just fantasy Chinese clocks?
I think the movement is Omega. The mid-case could be original, but those crystal-ball crystals were custom made. Interesting conversion. gatorcpa
Well the photos are taken from the web, I choose them because this one looks original but as I said, there is so many copies and I haven’t found any real info about this clock so that makes me think if Omega ever make a bubble clock or is just a kind of legend that the Chinese’s make to sell clocks.
That’s exactly what I think, Omega never did it, is some kind of weird experiment that someone did with some real Omegas….
looks a converted Goliath watch. They were sold as travel clocks, usually in a wood or silver case with a hole in the front so the time can be read. I've seen a few Omegas, Longines and Doxas and lots with no name Swiss ebauche movements in them, but never one with that cool but insane conversion. It seems to have a flat on the back crystal, perhaps its a "desk" clock..... might even be original if thats the case. mine: one off the web with the original case:
[QUOTE = "Sanmilc, post: 557185, membro: 13059"] Isso é exatamente o que eu acho, Omega nunca fez isso, é algum tipo de experimento estranho que alguém fez com alguns Omegas reais ... [/ QUOTE] Olá a todos, O que está acima é falso :: facepalm1 ::, mas o Omega conseguiu :afirmativo:... eles são raros, mas existem Saúde
If you set the clock an hour ahead on these you can see the future when you peer into the crystal ball.
