I love vintage watches, and the associated tools and ephemera, especially when they are from my favorite brand... My friend shared with me his case opener and press set, and I was amazed by the quality and condition. We thought we would share it with you all. Perhaps you have seen similar, or can shed any light on age, or how these sets were distributed? In each of the individual toolheads, is the familiar triangular Omega logo, just like inside a caseback. Have a great week all!
Hi I remember one for sale at a nawcc show.... Did not have the press... Guy had a sign saying 200$, walked pass it ... then came back as someone else bought it for 50$... ( sign was wrong ! augh !) , Great kit.... I love using the vintage openers ... BUT becareful not to over tighten a caseback !! I have seen it happen a few times a inexperience user could easly cross thread the back , or even worse guild the threads together ! then your really stuck ... Good Hunting Bill PS DIBs if you want to sell it
Thanks Bill! This kit certainly isn't "Dumpy or Standard" He already has plenty of proper tools for opening and closing, this is more a collection item than a tool for him. I'll pass along the Official OF Dibs!
Used to see a number of these on Ebay, but never bought. My supplier installed the crystal for me while I waited back then and didn't need another collectable taking up space DON
Now that's cool. I have the budget set, which like yours has all the adaptors marked up with the small Omega/Triangle logo.
