Hello OF community,

I ask some help and advice for an Omega calendar moonphase 2473, 18 k rose gold.
The seller is a profesionnal and ask for it 2100 euros.
The last date of service is unknow.
It runs good for the seller.
There is no box and no paper for this watch.
I know than the price is in the low range for this model.
The patina looks quite uneven in the borders to me.
Crown looks original, it is not signed
The case has been maybe polished.
The inside looks clean to me with no major sign of oxydation.
My question is : is it a fair price ? Do you see something wrong ?

Thank you the community for your advices.

Stay away - it is a poorly executed redial.

Many thanks MSN ! How do you see it's redial ? For my vintage education.

Here is the same reference in 18k rose gold. While there are several dial variations you should get a good idea of what's wrong with the dial.

I’m also a newbie and also still learning but I believe the only restauration/redial was the applied hour markers (not even aligned with the rest of the dial) and the subdial (that one entirely refinished). Am I wrong?

And also: stay away! (as someone more experienced than me already said)

Yes you are wrong. 😉 The OMEGA printing and the minute track are also terrible. I suspect that the date track is bad as well, but you can barely see it.

In that case (correct me again if I’m wrong) this is a re-redial as I assume the main and the subdial were remade at different times. This watch might worth something after all... the amount of time it was spent to do it 3x must be taken into account 😁

Hello again OF community !

I see this same reference on Chrono24, sell by a profesionnal, index looks correct and dial looks correct for the reference.

I have just a doubt, some border numbers looks faded and the dial looks very (too much ?) clean, do you think it's a redial ? Or it has been cleaned ? Thanks for help
