A vintage classic, and relatively rare, this one will be hard to part with... but alas, I must make room for the new acquisitions! Here's my 1954 Black waffle in stainless steel, ref. 2605-15, Omega caliber 266 that I bought in 2015 from a well-known fellow OF member. Please do look at all of the pictures, as they are an integral part of the description. Case: 35.4mm w/out crown. SS, in very good condition. 18mm lug width. The case-back has some pitting (see pics) that seems only to be a cosmetic issue. The inside rim also has shallow pitting, too. The watch hasn't been pressure tested, so just as I would not recommend for any vintage, don't let this one get wet, as it cannot be considered water-tight. Price: $850.00 Crown: signed Omega, probably original. Movement: A clean, excellent example of the cal. 266. SN #14,262,xxx puts it at 1954. Timekeeping is excellent, within 10s/d for me in all positions, great amplitudes (275 to 320), but it has not been serviced in my possession, just rarely worn, and well kempt. If you plan to wear it regularly, I recommend a service. Dial: Quite appealing, as you can see from the pics... prefer syrup? Or, fresh fruit with your waffle?
