Hello all, I am a new member to these forums and have been eyeing a vintage 1966 Omega Seamaster 562. It's through an online retailer and I was wondering if some of you could give me some insight as to whether there is anything obviously not authentic about this watch. What is the most that I should pay for it assuming it is genuine?

    Thanks for any advice!

It's genuine, however the dial has been refinished (a bad thing). I would not buy this watch.

I would echo that advice Andrei, the case has also been polished (but not too badly) and the date wheel is discoloured or from another watch.
Parts of the movement look a little brassy, probably over cleaned.
Watches from South Korea always require extra "due diligence".

Looks like a redial in my eyes. The font on "Seamaster" doesn't look right. I've also not seen a 12 o clock hour marker that looks the same as all the others on a dial before.

Very sloppy re-dial. I wouldn't be able to tolerate it.
