Vintage omega authenticity

Hello, I've been looking for a vintage 50-60s omega ladies watch and I came across this one on sale online.
Could you please help have a look if this watch is authentic? I was told that there should be a eagle's head stamp at the back of the case, is that correct? Thank you!

Who told you it should have an eagle's head stamp and why?

How much are they asking for the watch?

Welcome @Croizqt
The eagles head is a French hallmark for 18k gold.
if it were a Swiss Omega case it would have Swiss hallmarks.
This looks to be a 9k, most likely English cased watch.

There is probably about 3-4g of 9K gold there, so the value is circa £50-75. Not one to get excited about IMO.

Thanks for all your replies!
They are asking for £250 for this watch. I thought it's quite a reasonable price given the condition. Also I was told that this kind of "decorative watch (?)" does not really hold much value in the reselling market, so it's just really for my own pleasure 😀

May I also ask if the watchband is orginal? Does it matter if they change the watchband - would it be worth less?

It's actually not in particularly good condition, the dial is spotty and the case has seen better days.

Honestly if you're patient you could find one in 18K with a nice dial for that kind of money.

"does not really hold much value in the reselling market" - All the better not to overpay going in.

But hey it's your money.

I know that you didn't originally ask about value, but now that you opened the door, you will get some buying advice. Reasonable price given the condition? No, the price is ridiculous and the condition is mediocre. If you want it, offer £50 or £75. That greedy seller will never get anything close to that asking price ... because it does not really hold much value in any market. Including the current market where you are a buyer.

And keep in mind you may need to add an extra £300 to keep it running, so save your money.
