·Up for grabs is a Nivada Grenchen Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver
Manual wind, Valjoux 92, 38mm chronograph in steel, probably from 60's or 70's.
The watch is in very original condition. It has been obviously worn and enjoyed, but not touched much. The case is in very sharp condition, fully defined lug edges and bevels. No corrosion or pitting. No signs of overpolish.
Dial is original, tritium. No refinish or relume. The dial has aged/faded to a brown tone, perhaps from past moisture exposure. Hands appear original, broad arrow, with original tritium.
Crown is original, signed.
Bezel is original, shows signs of wear and is also has turned an even brown tone.
Caseback is in excellent condition. Few tool marks, but all engravings are sharp and crisp with what appears to be original finish, as well. Inside is stamped 3011.
The movement is a Nivada Valjoux 92 in running condition. Chronograph runs, stops and resets as should. Watch winds smoothly and runs, but service history is not known and may require an overhaul for good timekeeping.
Watch comes on unworn, vintage leather strap with steel buckle.
