View attachment 1047 I have inherited a near perfect condition Seamaster 300 watch. It is a military version shown on the case back, and I believe by the 'T' on the watch face. It has a 552 movement and that is about as much as I know. I am trying to find out more about this watch as I would like to sell it as my Father never wore it (He always wore his original moonwatch which I will be keeping)
Got pictures of the moonwatch? How about the SM300 - if he never wore it, do you have the box and/or paperwork for it?
There is no box etc for the SM300, it will have been picked up at an arms fair or something like that I presume. I'll post some pics of the moonwatch
I would be interested to know what you will be asking for the SM300. Send me PM if you would like to.
So would I That's a very sweet SM300, it's going to have many admirers, the other two are also exceptional choices, your father was a man of impeccable taste, and the Speedmaster will no doubt serve you for many years to come, though it could use a careful, and originality conscious restoration, keeping that bezel ideally. Love the pie-pan too, just a great set.
God I love having this site and seeing great collections like this, and that Railmaster in the other thread, makes it all totally worth it to see these.
