Just stumbled across this at a vintage market in London Town...

I don't know all that much about rancheros, but to my my eye, the dial and hands are wrong, and the case back... is this a Seamaster dressed up to look like it belongs with cowboys rather than sailors?

Any help most appreciated.

At the very least, I believe it should be ref 2990 or 2996.

Don't think it's a Ranchero.
Hers mine. Wore it for the first time in about 5 years today.

As the case back indicates, it's a 2937-- not a Ranchero.
It's just been made to look like a Ranchero.
The case is not the same, lugs and lug tips differ from 2990 and 2996.
