What do y'll think about this one? wasn't aware that the '63 superman was issued to MN. It has a handset from a Sous Marine, so those are obvious replacements. An odd feature that may add to the provenance is that it has drilled lugs, which was not done on the '63 superman. it has a very low serial number, my yema version with red bezel block has a 383XXX serial and my later LeJour one has 499XXX.

I've never seen an Superman for the Marine Nationale... Just an engraving on the back sounds "light" to justify its originality.

Very true, but I WANT to believe. MN has been known to buy small lots of watches that were available to the public. Seems like it would be a good fit, but would definitely need more evidence.

Actually, the same handset is on this ad I found on Le club yema. They also say thet early versions sometimes had this configuration, but no mention of drilled lugs.
