Hello All, I have a Longines Nonius that needs a service, and I was wondering whether to take it to Longines or an independant watch repair? I know with Rolex and Omega, if you take watches there they come back with all parts replaced and polished to death even if you ask them not to. How is it with the official Longines repair service? I pulled the crown out too far and it needs repair, but not an overall makeover. I am in NY if that makes any difference. Any advice appreciated. Thanks! Best-DON
Obviously it could be something more serious, but if it's just a matter of adjusting the detent, that could be an extremely simple while-you-wait repair by your friendly neighborhood watchmaker.
