Vintage Ladies Omega (Help in decoding caseback code and symbols)

Hi Guys, I recently bought a vintage omega for ladies, hoping to gift it to my sister, im curious to know if anyone have any knowledge on the caseback markings that is indicated, it has a triangle with 50 on it and a letter Pt beside it, and another symbol which looked like a flag or something. I am curious if this is coated or made with precious metals or anything like that

Could be a Platinum case. I'd need to know more about the watch though as it doesn't appear to be a Swiss case.
Maybe a locally produced case?

Serial dates it to about 1960 and caliber 245 was introduced in 1959 or 1960.

I'm as puzzled about the case, it does not have the omega sign, but rather some bunch of codes I have no idea of, date is around that 1960, I'm wondering if there is any significance on that traingle with 50. Pt sign, not sure of it meant platinum

As I said, I suspect it's a locally produced case, therefore no Omega markings.
The mark with numbers isn't a triangle it's a lozenge/rhombus. There should be three numbers inside, most likely 950 if it is Platinum.
If you can figure out where the watch came from (what country originally) it will help to identify the Platinum hallmarks.

no idea where it came from originally, I won this watch in a bid from yahoo auctions japan though

It sure would be a help if we knew what the character in front of the 50 is. According to the link, the PT or Pt could indicate platinum.

Wow!! thanks!! this is actually very helpful, I've been looking for symbols and never came across this one, so it looks like it's Japan Mint 950 Platinum


Edit: It actually looks like 850 platinum rather than 950. based on the etch

IF you have discerned that the digit preceding the 50 is in fact a 9, then it could be 950 platinum. But that numeral looks more like an 8 than a 9, in which case it would be 850 platinum, not 950 platinum.
