Hi, I’m curious to know what any IWC experts might have to say about this piece, in 18k rose gold. It’s about 37mm. I don’t know enough about IWC signatures and time periods to determine if it’s likely an original dial - or not. I don’t have any case or movement pics to share (literally only have these two pic), but I’m told it’s caliber 89. The owner thinks it’s from the late 50s but admittedly isn’t certain. Love the twisted lugs!
Also curious what a fair price for this should be if the dial (and everything else) ultimately checks out. Owner indicated that he thought about $2,000.
Thanks in advance!

The watch has been redialled. Lettering is rather crude. Value is really based on gold melt, plus a few hundred for the movement.

$2,000 is way, way too much for this watch.
