That's a lovely thoughtful gift. I don't think the dial had that paint job when it left the factory, so we'll probably need a photo with the case back off to tell you everything about it...

 

Thanks Mothra! I'm guessing my best bet is to take the watch to a jewelers and have them remove the back case so I can snap some pics. Since I have no experience with watches I'm willing to pay for someone to do that if recommended.

 

Definitely the best idea. Based on photos of the movement and inner case back, we'll be able to tell you what it is, what the movement is and an approx. Year.
