Happy New Year OF! I’d like to share one of my favourite vintage watches. This was surprisingly the watch that introduced me to this forum. I had been on the hunt for a Sir Echo for over a year and stumbled across what appeared to be an excellent example in a WRUW post on OF from a few years back. Fortunately for me, the seller (Norman) graciously agreed to part with this fantastic watch. The Sir Echo model was produced from 1957-64. The watch features very cool lugs, a simple but elegant dial design, solid 14k white gold case and a 22 jewel grade 770 movement which is widely regarded as one of the best produced by Hamilton Watch Co.
Thanks - glad you like it. It’s an aftermarket strap that was made for the Ventura model but I think it fits the Sir Echo just fine
