Looking to sell a rare ref. 7723 Hamilton Chronograph A that was manufactured in 1968/9, often referred to as the poor man’s Carrera.

Stainless steel case is perfectly sized at approximately 36mm not including the crown and features an original Hamilton crown.

The original, unrefinished reverse panda dial has some patina around the edges of the dial. NOS Hamilton chronograph dials pop up on eBay from time to time and swapping in a clean dial would double the value of the watch. Coincidentally, an OF member is selling a NOS reverse panda dial for a ref. 7733 that might be compatible with a ref. 7723.

Inside is a grade 643 manually wound movement. The previous owner advised that it was serviced within the past year but did not provide a service receipt. The watch winds smoothly, keeps time and the chronograph feature works properly.

Watch head only price is $1175 USD by Wise, plus shipping from Canada.

A few dozen reviews as buyer and seller from fellow members:

Feel free to ask questions as returns are not accepted unless the watch is grossly misrepresented.
