This is another rare beauty that I did not expect, a vintage Hamilton Pan Europ Chrono-matic 703, powered by the first automatic chronograph movement, the famous Cal. 11 developed by Hamilton, Heuer, Dubois-Depraz and Breitling. This watch is a favorite among Hamilton fans. In fact, Hamilton came out recently with a re-issue of the Pan Europ powered by a modified ETA movement. This watch has a beautiful blue dial that turns into black or purple when viewed at different angles. The cushion case is quite large at 43mm and looks similar to the Heuer 1163 case.

Care to elaborate on the "Found" wording of your thread title? :)

Found in a vintage watch store? Found in a storm drain? Old shoebox at an auction perhaps?
