·I’d like to introduce my Omega Speedmaster 3691.50, a rather uncommon reference produced in 1992, crafted entirely in 18-carat yellow gold and limited to 999 pieces.
The case retains the classic Speedmaster proportions, but the use of solid gold gives it a very different presence and weight compared to the more familiar steel versions, reinforcing its distinctly more exclusive character. The watch preserves the traditional Professional aesthetic, with a tachymeter bezel, black tri-compax dial, and a solid caseback.
From a mechanical standpoint, it is powered by the Omega calibre 863, a manual-winding chronograph derived from the 861, featuring a higher level of finishing and used in more exclusive references while maintaining the robustness and reliability for which the Speedmaster is known.
A rather unusual Speedmaster, both for its material and for its distinctive place within the history of the collection.
