Vintage Gold Constellation question

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me identify the type of Constellation I have? This was my grandfather’s watch & I haven’t seen an exact match online. It is a gold watch, with original gold band with 18k & 750 marks. I believe it is 1968-69, model 168-010. It has a white face with a crosshair on the face. Runs well & was serviced an 8-9 years ago. Any help on what exact model/year & approximate value would be very helpful. Thanks!

The dial is definitely refinished and its a pretty rough job, but the case is a Ref 168.005/6 18K solid gold dogleg Constellation case, its quite a bit polished which is common for gold as its a soft material. The bracelet is a real solid gold 18K beads of rice which is very uncommon, even though its a bit rough and stretched, you almost never come across those these days so that's quite a cool thing to have.

I have doubt about the bracelet clasp. It may not be from Omega and the beads of rice might only be gold plated.
The dial was refinished badly coming with a worn case would reduce the value more than half.
Value of the whole thing depends on gold contents in those beads of rice + 18k gold case.

I see what you mean, but the amount of stretch on the bracelet without any wear-through makes me think probably not gold plated, they do tend to lose their edges and corners far before they stretch that much, though exceptions happen

I don't trust the stamps on the clasp.
The correct stamps from Omega bracelets of 168.006 model are in attached photos.
Also, the 18k BOR bracelet for 168.006 is so rare that I have never seen one in my life.
IMHO, that beads of rice bracelet needs to be checked carefully before saying it is 18k gold.

I've seen just one, but it was the 7-row (9 if you count the outer bits) BoR not this style, and it had a different clasp style and stamping again

I have one of those:

The stamps are a bit different, but I would guess that the OP bracelet is indeed 18k.

Thank you! It is definitely 18k gold for the bracelet, that was verified when my Dad took it in to the jeweler. I’m bummed that they scratched up the rim around the face though. Do you have any idea of an approximate value based on what you know?
