Vintage Glashutte Original

I see a lot of listing of vintage Glashutte Original on chrono24, such as this one.

The prices seem reasonable, for what they are. However, I read that there are a lot of Eastern European forgeries.

Are there any resources to improve my knowledge on vintage GO references?
Any recommendations of reliable dealers or online stores?

Hey,

the shown one looks like one of these typical redials to me. The old East-German Glashüttes are nice and solid watches, but you cant compare them to the quality of todays GO's or the time before WWII. 99% of the cases are chrome or gold plated, the movements (like the Automatic Spezimatic) were build in milions.

When you can live with all that (and these are really nice watches, I own a few), I would suggest a search on German Ebay. There you will find every week like 10 drawer finds.

If you want to buy from a dealer, I can recommend https://www.vintagetick.de . He has original Glashüttes to a reasonable (200-300€) price from time to time.
