    Just re-edited the link to a normal ebay URL, people sometimes search for items for past prices and it makes it easier to find keywords that way :)

    Not fond of the gold plated cases on these, especially only 20-mircrons, they tend to wear badly.

    This one is no exception, I see lots of wear on the edge of the bezel.

    I'm even a gold-cap hater, as much as Desmond and various others have tried to convince me of my folly, I've always thought gold should be solid steel should be steel.

    Does that gantries extend to gold filled? Which is presently much less likely to wear through?

    Its not just wear through, its that its a metal trying to be something its not... Like an ///M badge on a non-M car in my strange personal view :coffee:

    Gold plate, lowest content, gold-filled next, gold cap would have the heaviest layer of gold.

    Oh really? I didn't know that at all, I thought gold-filled was actually thickest. What's the difference in how they're manufactured?
