Nice example, anybody here snag this?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Omega-Flightmaster-145-013-from-1969-Exceptional-/251728205438?pt=UK_Jewelery_Watches_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item3a9c2b967e&nma=true&si=OnGiC3oO%2BgVfKj5Pks2BurcOnU8%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

I am educating myself on these early Flightmasters, anything look amiss? What characteristics point to a true 1969 model besides the serial?

I do not see original 1159 bracelets much around the web, what's the market price on these? I would imagine finding a bracelet for a early 910 in great shape will be the hard part.

    Any advice will be helpful.

As far as I know, a true, early, 1969 flightmaster dial does not have the 2 lume dots on either side of the 12 o'clock marker.
Google 'flightmaster box' and have a look at the image on the box - no 2 lume dots!
Also the chrono pushers have a shallow indent only for 1 colour, either yellow or red.
Lastly, early flightmasters supposedly came with the 1159/155 bracelet/endlinks.

Subsequent flightmaster dials have the 2 lume dots, and chrono pushers are marked half red half yellow, and came with the more common 1162/172 bracelet/endlink.
Here's mine - no 2 lume dots, 'solid' pushers - with colour long faded off unfortunately, and 1159/155.

    My 2 cents.

Lume dots galore... but not on each side of 12-index. One colour pushers.

Wow, these are quite nice examples, thanks for posting great pictures.

Any explanation as to why the subdials on some have mellowed (and may I add very nicely !) to a chocolate and some of the same vintage are still black?

    Thanks Ben
I would not mind sharing at all. The problem is that I have not opened it yet. Bought it from original owners son in cirka 2009 and he had it serviced just before (by the same watchmaker who had serviced it regularly since new). Well it is time again soon and I will share the findings.

I love these 910s but I have to admit the lack of a running seconds hand has been the one thing that has always put me off.

What are they like to wear? I know I would always have that nagging feeling whenever I checked the time that the watch had stopped...

    Here´s my 1970 911

Without the dots at 12 indicates a very first run of these.

Now, the skeptic in me has to ask, can these lume dots be removed without any tell signs to fool us late comers to the Party? (I'm not saying this one)
