Can anybody share info about the Orange Dial version of the Vintage Eterna matic Kontiki Super

looks like really rare version and even Dr. google can't help much.

I've seen later sonic - tuning fork movement, models, but not automatics.

You really need more photos for a decent appraisal of the watch. More information would also help; what caliber does this one house, what year was it manufactured, etc. Tropical dials are black ones that have turned brownish with age, that is just an orange dial.

 

Less common than the black dial, but not unheard of. If you google super kontiki orange dial, you will find a bunch of them in the images. I don't know why you can't find any. This one looks pretty darn rough.

Google do bring photos of a "super kontiki orange dial", but they are not the same!. they have same case but model is "sonic" and movement is tuning fork while this one is like the Automatic ones. and those just not discussed anywhere.

Can anyone confirm what caliber the orange dialed super Kontiki runs ?

 

Its Caliber 1542 or 2825

 

Hmm ok mine has 2825 , I have the automatic version
Not the sonic version

 

2825 is correct for the automatic version.
