hi I didn't really present this watch as it deserved to be so here it is. I bought the watch about 6 month ago and I have to say that everytime I out it off the box I am stuck. First, the case... Which is becoming more and more important for me. Even more than the brand... But anyway the case is really awesome on this watch. Really sharp And cherry on the cake, one of favorite, it's a clamshell. One of the first waterproof case which make the caseback as much interesting at the face itself ...And 38mm... Then the dial. Generally, I dont like to have watches with 'unique' feature... Most of the time it is not a good think... But Here, the dial is 100% original but I've never seen another one like this one. Multi scale ( blue snail tachy!)and partial sector...And double cherry on the cake, the patina is absolutely insane... Some details are crazy on this watch... Hands... Dial... The Valjoux 22 was not in good shape when I bough it... Note the position of the eterna signature, commun for this era. So after service, it is running like dthe first day. So I am sure you understand now why I love this watch so much...Maybe even more than the others...
you have a great collection, I have always wanted a snail dial chronograph but the luck is not there yet!
Thanks for the comments! My taste really changed over years and now I think I really found my sweet spot
Very tough to capture well (e.g. reflections, etc.). It has a beautiful matt dark grey dial w/ radium lume. Triple-register (Valjoux 71), and double-branded with an esoteric Zurich dealer. Never seen another like it.
I've seen this watch in person, and it looks even better than the photos. The patina on the dial is very attractive, especially in sunlight, and the case is in phenominal shape. It also has great wrist presence. Inspired me to look for one of my own. Congrats @Fost - this was a great find.
