I found this in Europe over a decade ago, but just recently noticed the motor accepts either 120 or 220v with a slight wiring mod. Today after nearly 12 years on display in my office, I powered it up for the first time.

Love it, I'm jealous.

Is one of the cam wheels broken? EN stays on at the end.

My logic thinks it should go off, so that you get.

Black, EN, IC, AR, Logo, black etc.

Agree, trying to sort it out today. AI says I need to replace that bulb with an incandescent…I’m using led bulbs. I ordered some incandescent bulbs last night to see if that does the trick. Otherwise the cam and contact strip look to be working correctly

Was it simply changing to incandescent? Or did you adjust the cam wheels?

Neither, the terminal on the bottom of that lamp socket was making contact with the frame. I just put a piece of shrink wrap tubing behind it for now, I need to find a replacement socket eventually. It’s made of Bakelite and after 60 years it’s a bit fragile

Great result.
When AI suggested changing the bulbs I figured it was a typical AI conclusion.
I'd keep the LEDs to keep heat down to extend the life of the bakelite

LEDs can sometimes mess with devices that use the resistance or other behaviors of the bulb to determine timing/etc, so it isn't completely out-there. But I don't see even THAT much limited technology in that sign 😁 That said, I'd buy the crap out of an Omega branded one...
