Hello I wonder if the Eberhard is a good opponent to the omega 165.024.
Or is the omega a better watch , comparing movement.
The case are pretty similar , but I like the dial more on the scafograf.
And speaking about value , are they around the same price range ?

I have an opportunity to buy this Eberhard scafograf 300 with no date window. Sadly the dial is not so nice. But it’s hard to find these no date 300 versions.
What is a fair price for this piece in this condition,
I’ve seen a lot of prices , but many dream prices and all
of them has the date window.
Best regards / M

Looks pretty rough, and might be tricky bringing it back to a cleaner condition. I like the Scafografs and my sense is that they are a lot scarcer than the SM 300s. You would need to research relative values. A lot of people go with what they know, and the relative rarity of the Eberhards (not sure about the 300's but production estimates for the 100's and 200's that I have seen over the years are quite low) may also mean a narrower buyer pool. The issue for me with that one would be the condition first, assuming that the price felt rational. What is the asking price?

Without any proof and only my gut feeling: in this condition euro 3000 would be my max .

ok what would you pay for an Omega 165.024 (not the big triangle) in exactly same condition as this Eberhard ?

And can someone explain for me why 99.9% of all Eberhard 300 marked dials have a date window at 3 a clock , but this 300 don’t ?
What is the ref on this one with no date window ?

It's a beautiful watch. About the reference, it's hard to say, Scafo 300 no date a quite rare an unusual. It appears to be a very short production made for the italian market around 1964.

As discussed above, it is a bit rough, but it seems to be really nice. What do you plan to do about the lume on the hands and the dial? How much did you end up paying? Can you post a dial photo in natural light? In any event, hope you enjoy it.

I’m not gonna do anything , just make service on the movement. I will keep it 100% untouched
