Hey Guys, great forum here! I would like to ask for your opinion on a piece I am interested in. What confuses me a is that the seller has plenty of pieces of the same (de Ville) model, and that they are all like new. Would be interested in your opinion - how realistic is it that this might be fake? Thanks for your help!

Wow. That was quick, thanks. How can you tell it is redialled? The seller says the dial is restored, so in terms that is fraud, right? A similar ohne just sold for 2K€. You only need two idiots on ebay.

Whatever you decide take the sellers claims of +1 second a day accuracy with a pinch of salt, I once bought a Longines chronograph from him that came with a similar accuracy claim, it turned out to be running +9, but not 9 seconds per day, this one was running + 9 minutes per hour

Needless to say it went straight back for a refund

But the minute hand is a bit short.

 

True, not great overall. Though more original than the first watch at least.

 

What I also don't get... I searched for the reference number of the watch in the first link on the official Omega database, and it referred to a de Ville 14k gold watch with solid case. The watch yet has a steel case. How can that be?
