Hi, I'm am a great fan of Omegas and constantly search for new ones for my collection, recently I found a De Ville Automatic caliber 1020? Could it be a fake? Here are some pics.... What do you think?

rarely will you find low cost omegas that are faked, maybe restored or messed around with but not faked. They tend to fake the high value watches for obvious reasons.

 

Take that silly date window off of it, and remove the frivolous second hand and you'd have a damn nice watch.

 

Expected price? The guy is asking $320.

 

Not a bad price to start off negotiations with. I'd want better closeups of the dial before I say it's original though.

 

Finally I got it at $270 Have to replace the bracelet though.
