from my collection of never finished projects (
) I am selling this Certina DS-2 Chronolympic Chrongraph.
The massive 43,5mm Stainless Steel case has obvoiusly seen a hard life, or was just a love everyday watch for some one. The used look is also visible on the dial with some stains and color faiding. The hands lost some color too.
If you have the chance to get a new dial (they are for sale at ebay from time to time) you have a great base for a daily rocker. The DS (double security) system of certina was also used on this Chronograph, so this is as rugged as a Chrono can be.
The movement, a Certina derivate of the famous column wheel based Valjoux 23, is working good, all functions given. Service History unknown.
The watch is priced to sell, 900€ and based in Germany. Worldwide shipping is no problem.
