Lugs are 17.5 so 18 won’t work. That said, 17.25-17.45 will all work on these and there are a plenty of vintage in that range? Don’t expect perfection in fit, bracelets from this period never fit perfectly- if you can’t get a piece of construction paper through the gap- you are close enough.

 

Things are slowly coming together for this one. Just received the bracelet and crystal. Now all I need is a new crown (if anyone has one or direction to one, that would be greatly appreciated). Also just waiting on a crystal press to arrive

The first snorkel variant case ref# 386 this model uses the earlier bulged (curved top) waterproof crown, with tear drop end seconds pylon, the " snorkel " text on dial was introduced on later models ... in the 70's the snorkel " oceanographer " line was added.

Man, you guys are going to get me into collecting vintage Bulova/Accutron again….I LOVE that 386….

 

My wife fell in love with these over the weekend ... already have JW helping with a look and a few ebay searches.
