·Up for sale is a US military issued Benrus Type II from 1973. This watch was serviced by Jack at International Watch Works in December of 2021.
These are now relatively hard to find in decent condition and this one is a strong example.
The caseback is stamped:
MIL-W-50717
Type II Class A
6645-225-1741
X7951
DAA25-72-00658
June 1973
Serial No
1915
U.S.
The watch has a great looking dial with a nice patina that matches the hands. The bezel is in very good condition as well with a luminous triangle. The case shows signs of a life hard lived but is in good condition. The original fixed bars were missing when I acquired the watch and Jack at IWW fixed these. It is common to see the old lug holes on the crown side of the watch on these, this case shows some damage on the lower right lug side that has been repaired. The crown appears to be the original with the dash indentation at the center.
The movement is the original Benrus KG1D21 with hacking feature.
The watch is located in London and is priced at £3200.
Free shipping in the UK and rest of world shipping available on quote.
