    Hi gents,

I was travelling to one of my sites yesterday and I was wearing a stunning little Omega I recently picked up from a forum member. It is strapped to my wrist with a soft leather nato which sits nice and flat on my wrist. I was really taken aback by its age and beauty and also how well it wears it, on my wrist anyway.

The watch is a 30T2SC from the '40s. We are so incredibly lucky to still have these watches around to appreciate them. I can image this bad boy strapped to a soldier's wrist in the trenches (I know it wasn't but let me dream). I would be so lucky to be this good looking at 70 years young. With some loving this old boy will live to see a hundred and will be enjoyed by the next generation. I genuinely thank all the people involved in designing and building these little machines so well so we may wear them and enjoy them in perpetuity if we so choose.

    Now for some pictures:

The roads are bad but the views are oh so good!

Sometimes there are traffic issues on these gravel roads too...

Like I said, strapped to a soldier's wrist in the trenches...

This was not my first vintage watch and will definitely not be my last!

    thanks!

the seller said it was from the '30ies... I haven't been able to confirm much about it though. there's not much info about the brand, and the case and movement are pretty much bare of markings.

Nice little watch indeed! If I may, how many bodies did you bury in that hole? :)

I wish these 30Ts trees would grow in my region! :) That one looks in a very ripe stage and ready for harvesting!

Wow! That is a stunner. Is there any way to override a dibs from another member??? Perhaps we can play rock, paper, scissors...

Just realised I have a sub-title under my nom de plume and avatar:D
Feeling pretty good about myself right now. Thanks whoever did it!

@alam the hole is about 5.5 x 2.9 x 2.2m deep. I could probably fit in as many as I need to.
