·Some time ago I've acquired this vintage Cellini with lots of luck and little to no knowledge of Cellinis.
I'm thinking it's time to sell, and was wondering if any of you Rolex gurus can help me date and identify it.
I haven't see any Cal.1601 movements before, I'd hope its original to the watch case. The bracelet is an 18K white gold original rolex bracelet. It looks to be original to the watch.
The box shown in photos is definitely not original to the watch and is just a Cellini box I happened to have in storage for a while.
Is there a healthy demand for a Cellini like this? Is the 1601 movement rare? Does the movement dial and case match up to the case reference number?
Thank you in advanced everyone!👍
