Views on Flagship Heritage 38MM Automatic

Before watches became the size of Frisbees .. 38mm was considered a large size. As the owner of a bunch of 36mm vintage watches which work pretty well on my large wrist, one 42mm and a bunch of 38mm ... I can assure you that this is not only an excellent watch but a perfect size.

+1. I find 36-38mm the perfect size for me for dress watches too. I think you'd find the 38mm size perfect if (as you say) you're average sized.

36-38mm is the "golden ratio" for wrist watches.

everything about their design and styling best fits into that bracket.

+1. I find 36-38mm the perfect size for me for dress watches too. I think you'd find the 38mm size perfect if (as you say) you're average sized.

I think 38mm is perfect for dress watch for averaged size man unless you have 8" wrist....😉

Comparing it to a 40 mm Speedmaster is a futile exercise. The two watches wear very differently, your chronograph has a busy dial and a thick bezel, a dress watch like the Flagship reissue has a simple dial and thin bezel, it will wear much bigger than its diameter would have you believe.
