I've never seen anything like this one. There's nothing that stands out to me as incorrect other than the dial seems so pristine and unusual that I am questioning its authenticity. The asking price, at $950.00 seems a bit steep for a gold-capped 2577 but if the dial is good, I might make an offer.
I'd be interested in reading your opinions.

Looking at the scratches on the cases they seem to be in different places on each watch. So maybe I was wrong with my previous comment

I think that would be an easy mistake to make. What are the odds that two unusual dials like those, show up at nearly the same time?

I'm bumping this thread because the seller accepted my offer and it arrived yesterday. I still can't tell whether it's a redial or not. According to the seller, this isn't the same watch in the linked thread, above. The "s" in Seamaster matches the one in the linked thread but appears to be slightly different than the others I have seen. I have 14 days to return it so opinions are appreciated.

If it's a redial it's a damn good one. I really like the dial. Similar to this but with different markers. Great find.

Okay, I finally took a few of photos of the dial. I know there was no consensus on originality of the last dial like this so I'm hoping these photos help determine whether it's original or a redial. Aside from missing minute markers, this thing is darn good if it is a redial. DSCF0129.JPG DSCF0130.JPG DSCF0131.JPG DSCF0132.JPG

I believe it is original. I had one exactly like it with the same dial design and no minute markers. I'll dig up a photo when I can.

That would be great. I really like the look of it but was concerned it is a redial. Your belief that it's original makes me feel extremely good about it.
