    Dear experts,
This could be a story of how not to buy a watch on the internet, but I will spare you the details. It's too embarrassing.

    This is a Polerouter Genève.
What I would like know if the dial and hands are legit. There is some minor corrosion on the hands, and a liberal amout of debris which I think is from the lume. The dial looks very nice, but is it too nice for the age?
The crown is a replacement, unfortunately.
Gold plating has worn off, I got fooled on that one...
The case back is marked Polerouter Jet. Funny thing is that I have seen another Polerouter Genève with that caseback on the internet. The seller has probably tried to open it, because there are some ugly marks on the back.
The rotor shows some wear, just as the inside of the caseback. There is some rotor clatter, but my watchmaker wasn't too worried about that. The movement stars with a few twists, so it seems not too bad mechanically. But in bad need of a good service, of course.

The verdict? Overpriced, but OK for a daily wearer, or a blatant ripoff?
