    $1,000,000. Of course, that's just an estimate. It may be lower.

    Once you take it to a watchmaker to open it up to make sure its genuine you can get the reference from inside the case back, then check SOLD listings on eBay.

    Dude ::facepalm1::

    If you inherited it, how about you just wear it and enjoy it? Or, do some research on the World Wide Web? A simple search would show you that you are not Indiana Jones and this isn't the Holy Grail.

    This is your vintage Omega. There are many like it, but this one is yours (and, before that, presumably someone who loved you enough to want you to have it).

    The reason you're getting jokey-jokey answers is that 15 people a day with question mark avatars and one post ask the same question as you - you can hopefully forgive these folks for getting slightly annoyed.

    What he said and take it to an independent watchmaker, confirm that he can work on vintage pieces and get the movement cleaned, oiled and adjusted.
    As for value, it's a nice vintage watch but I would not pay more than $400

    Hi Kris

    I have one like that too. Also inherited it. From my gramps (via my dad). So the value to me has no price -> it's priceless. I will never be able to buy the exact Omega watch that ignited my love of watches, and that was my grandads and my dads...

    But that's just silly me. Nice watch you got there. Condition looks fantastic. It has the champagne dial whose color changes with different lighting and angle? Simply killer...they don't make dials like that anymore.

    And welcome to the forum. Post an avatar, take some time to get to see how things work here, introduce yourself, don't let the honorable folk (above) scare you off (but realise they have a fair point, and some of them gave good advice), and enjoy, you will see this can be a nice place :)

    Lastly : second dibs!

    Best regards,
    Eugene

    PS: that watch looks superb on the correct nato (despite being a dress watch).

    I inherited the phrase "it will be worth what someone will pay you". I reckon you will find this valuation 100 percent spot on!!!
