20120716_134615.jpg I've been offered this Seamaster chrono complete with paperwork and apparantly working. Not sure of exact ref.
Any ideas on value please? Ta.

Wow. Probably mid to late 60's and the value will hinge on it being powered by a 321 or 861. If it's an 861, figure $1400-ish or better since I sold my nearly identical De Ville 861 chrono for $1150 a couple years ago without all the goodies. If it's got the 321, that's at least $2200 and could be much more. Unless Mike beats me to it, I'll look up the reference number but it's going to be 145.xxx of some sort (145.018?) .

That is a cal. 321 movement - don't recall the 861 coming in that case style with the thin lugs like that. I would agree with Dennis' estimate $2000-2200 and up to 2500 to 2700 if the condition is excellent and the movement pristine.

As always - many thanks. I've asked for some more info and might make an offer.

Important thing is to verify that the plating is fully intact especially in the lug edges where it is most vulnerable. Ask for close up pictures or better yet bake in a 3 day return on the purchase to fully protect yourself.
