Cheers everyone. Just got a vintage chrono with a Valjoux 237 movement. Can't find any literature on it. Only web info mentioned that perhaps only 300 were made? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached picture is of my watch/movement. Best, SeaSubRod
The lovely Richard Askham of thewatchspotblog.com helped me out with my question! I figured it might be worth to close the loop here should anyone else have this question. According to Richard: "The V237 is an updated version of the V23. During the production cycle the beat rate of the V23 and V72 was increased from 18,000 bph to 21,600bph and the calibres were rebranded V236 and V726 respectively from then on. Other versions of the V236 were introduced with date (V234) a flyback (V235) and your calibre with a flyback and date V237."
Couldn't agree more! Front side is here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/wakmann-big-boy-exploration.67617/#post-848875. Cheers!
