If it would have been designated at a mail in ballot you would have received it right away

Hope it has it's proper visas!

Here in the U.S., I have a USPS package that I ordered Dec. 9th as well.

It made it all the way to the city next to mine before being whisked away to another state where it has sat for the last 2 weeks.

USPS is on another level these days.

::bleh::::bleh:: Mine took 3 months from Germany to San Diego. They lost a small package of mine, out of 100 packages. Luckily it was cheap, the seller didn’t care or believe I didn’t get so that’s that.
As long as you can still track it, you have hope.

Yeah, Just have to keep telling myself everyone is in the same boat.

"Tracking" is moot when it doesn't move. :(

I send a padded envelope return to Erika's from Australia to Spain on the 20th of March 2020.
It was back in my PO Box in AU on the 11th of January 2021, close to 10 months later. ::facepalm1::
Correct address on the envelope as Erika confirmed.
    (SH)IT happens.

Glad to see your clock is getting to do the fabulous traveling we can’t right now. Perhaps I should put myself in a USPS box....hmmm

I posted a package in Paris (France), addressed to a member in Austria, probably only about 1,000 kilometres away.

After significant delays and many enquiries it arrived in Austria, complete with a re-direct stamp from Brisbane Australia:eek:.

After that, as suggested by @mac_omega, all mail to Austria was sent to "Österreich" :D.

I also posted a package from Avignon to a member in Zagreb which never arrived .

So my experience with postage in the EU is not conducive to confidence (looking at you La Poste).

I have however, had no problems with shipping from Australia to many other countries using Australia Post, and conversely, none of my incoming packages from various countries has ever gone astray, even a couple from Italy!

I sent a package from where I live in Queens to Nashville, a week before Christmas. But Jan 1st came and went and it hadn't arrived, so I checked the tracking myself to see what was up - turns out it had taken a full week to go from the local post office, to the regional distribution center just a couple neighborhoods over... Curious, I looked up just how far it was.

I could make that walk in under 3 hours ::facepalm1::

I know the USPS was stressed over the holidays but, I mean, dude

Wow, the Austria/Australia confusion happens in Europe as well! A friend of mine had to send letters from the US to Austria and finally started addressing them

    street
    Vienna, Austria
    EUROPE

because they kept taking the scenic route.

Pretty sad for one of the former Great Powers.
