I don't know how people will make it through reunions without bourbon. I'd have a tough time with that.

I guess Third-Class Package International Carrier Pigeon® (TCPICP®) is still a viable alternative service.

Know of a few places that have suspended any freight to Australia due to outrageous cost to ship and the above notice. ;)

A $75 item is $89 to ship at one place I get stuff from so they have stopped shipping.

This has been in place for over two months, without real explanation from USPS. Other countries seem to have no problem in despatching to Australia (I have had a number of parcels from Europe), with only minor delays.

I have a couple of items still sitting with the vendor in USA - they have offered FEDEX or DHL as an alternative, but the added cost is out of proportion to their value.

USPS used to pride itself on its service - I hope it pulls its collective finger out soon....

    This ha
The problem with USPS goes directly to its head, appointed by the previous administration and is apparently difficult to dislodge. DeJoy has to go.

He is still there? CEO of a company that defrauded the Post Office for over 58 million, then gets appointed to the head of the USPS while owning a holding company with a vested interest in the USPS failing...

They seem awfully inconsistent. I received an item from a supplier in the USA, dispatched USPS International Priority. Confidently predicted a travel time of 3-4 weeks based on previous experience … and received it 8 days later. That was on par with 1970’s mail times when US Postal was a trusted name.
Of course, there are stories to tell that are not quite so flattering.

Hope they weren’t posting the submarines we are buying……..

Have had some not to bad experience’s in the last two months time wise by small companies and Etsy sellers. But find it crazy when two big companies can’t afford the price hike in the last few weeks to be able to send their wares.

Cutting of mail deliver is usually the first thing we do before an invasion.
