I am looking to order a Rolex Sub no date. Quoted £5.450 here in the U.K. Hoping to visit New York in the summer and wondering whether to wait and look to purchase there. Thoughts

 

Brand new? Retail in the US for a 114060 is $7,500. You're probably better off buying now in the UK.

 

To match £5.450 ($6,800) in NYC and after you consider NYC sales tax, you must get ~16% discount from MSRP...and then, you may get hit w/import taxes when entering the UK. The UK quote seems a better deal.

Gray dealers in the US about $6,500.. I think you are better buying without issues at home for an extra couple hundred...
